Rotarians helping people!

Over $7,000 was donated to a Polish Rotary Club vetted by our VT District Governor to support those fleeing the war in Ukraine. Every penny was contributed by our own Rotarians.
Well done!

Sixth Grade students raise $3000 for the Dover School
The Rotary Club of Deerfield Valley presented a $1500 match grant to Dover School to support their efforts. We also worked with students to understand fundraising and philanthropy.
Congratulations to their teacher, Tracey Oakes Gamache for inspiring these students!

Garden of Hope

In 2010 Kelly Pollack, General Manager of Mount Snow and an active Rotarian, had a vision that we could build a Rotary Garden for the community to enjoy.  Don Albano, our first Paul Harris Recipient, added to that vision, with the concept of “pocket gardens'' in a few towns.
What remains is a beautiful garden on Route 100 at the corner of Blue Brook Road in Dover.  The work continues today as Rotarians and friends gather to keep this both a friend to nature, but mostly to our community.

Love a Head
RCDFV partnered with several local friends who helped make hats for our service project, “Love a Head.”
These will be given to patients receiving chemotherapy treatment. Something to keep them warm and feel loved.

Operation Warm

Over the past 23 years Operation Warm has served over 4.5 million children across North America. In our VT communities, nearly one in five children live in need. For their families, paying for food, housing, heat and healthcare takes priority, meaning many children have to go without proper weather essentials needed to stay healthy and active.  The Rotary Club of the Deerfield Valley is happy to support this program by bringing warm coats to the children of the Valley!
