Best Club Marketing Award
Awarded to the club that ran an event and where the event publicity strongly promoted Rotary and raised its profile among those who saw the marketing materials.

This year the Rotary Club of the Deerfield Valley revived the annual Tube a Thon after 3 years.

Over 100 people of all ages came to support the 2 hour Tubing event.  We had 69 local sponsors and partnered with the local school to teach them about fundraising.  The club matched their amount.  The club also hosted a BBQ which sold out.

Our marketing efforts included Instagram, Facebook, Web site, QR code, Eventbright, created flyers and posters.  We had the Rotary logo on all forms of marketing.  We have a blow up Rotary sign that was by the BBQ, Rotary apron, Rotary tent, Rotary tablecloth and sponsor signs lined the area with the Rotary logo.

The paid boost on Facebook reached 5,354. 18 people engaged with comments and 6 new likes to our Facebook page.  Many comments thanked Rotary specifically.

The committee posted the flyers on multiple local social media pages, association communities, Chamber of Commerce, member posts, and the newspaper.   It was SNOW much fun.

Ralph and Verne Howe Community Service Award
"The Ralph & Verne Howe Community Service Award recognizes a member or organization of the community for their outstanding service to the Chamber and our community.

This year’s recipients have been serving the Deerfield Valley Community for almost two decades, guided by the motto “service over self”.  This past year in particular, under the leadership of president Diane McCormick, they have rallied together to help meet the needs of the Deerfield Valley Community and organizations like the Chamber, through their generosity, time and friendship.  Volunteering at local events, hosting blueberry pancake breakfasts and bbqs, and Music festival and garden, barn and art tours, the Rotary Club of the Deerfield Valley have been shining examples of selflessness and community dedication.

It is my honor to present the Rotary Club of Deerfield Valley with the Ralph & Verne Howe Community Service Award." Bethaney  LaClair, Executive Director, Chamber of Commerce.
